Our Aims and Values
At Combs Ford Primary School we aim to provide a stimulating learning environment where:
- everyone feels equally valued, safe and cared for
- each child achieves success - academically, physically, creatively and socially
- good manners, honesty, fairness and mutual respect are the normal standards of behaviour
We aim to encourage children to become independent, self-disciplined and to have an eagerness to succeed. We want them to develop confidence in themselves so that they can leave our school with an enquiring mind and the skills needed for later success.
As a school we have a set of beliefs that we try to follow – these are known as our Rainbow Rules. Each strand of the rainbow represents a different one of our whole school beliefs about how we should behave and treat others.
When we follow the Rainbow Rules, we earn rewards for the whole school, from Rainbow Time to pyjama days!
